Valentine’s Day is just a day away and chances are you either can’t wait to spend your day with that special person, or you dread the holiday so much that you can’t wait for it to come and go. However, if you have someone special in your life, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show them how much you really care.
When was the last time you and your significant other got dressed up for a night on the town? And I am not talking about just grabbing dinner at your local Friday’s or Applebee’s. In the golden era, more affectionately known as the Harlem Renaissance, men and women wore their finest garbs and enjoyed each other’s company. They engaged in meaningful conversations about their career goals, family, and all the things that we would just text each other today. So I challenge you to take that special person out for a night that they will never forget…
And possibly share a few laughs.
This vintage smoking jacket was purchased from a local thrift store nearly 2 years ago for only $8. After some minor alterations this piece can easily be misconceived as being bespoke. It is just another testament to the phrase, “Money can’t buy style”.
