The Power of Simplicity

The Power of Monochrome
Keeping an outfit simple and classic has been my motto for years, and it is something that never fails. In fact, nothing is more simple than going with a look similar to the one seen above. A solid navy blue suit, a navy blue silk knit tie, and a white dress shirt with a matching white pocket square can get you through just about any event where a suit is deemed necessary. Whether it be an interview, a wedding, a business meeting, or just a typical day at work.

There are several advantages to keeping things simple and classic. For starters, it just makes the entire process of getting dressed that much easier. For instance, instead of daunting over what tie to pair with this suit, I just grabbed a navy blue silk knit tie and instantly created somewhat of a monochrome look. And if you’re anything like me, I am sure you own tons of different ties but only wear the same three or four. In my case, my tie collection has dwindled down to the same three silk knit ties (more on that later). The next best thing about keeping things simple and classic is that you will never have to worry about looking silly in your pictures when you look back at them years from now.
