I previously mentioned here, that wearing a 3-piece suit in it’s entirety is a great option for any professional setting. Therefore, I have been executing it more often than not because the freezing temperatures make the extra layer ideal. It also makes dressing in the morning so much easier.
I recently found this brown wool glen plaid suit in a local thrift store and after only some minor alterations (tapering the legs to a 6.5 in. leg opening and adding a 1 in. cuff), this suit was ready to wear. The leather buttons really stood out to me and convinced me that this was a custom made suit. I also really loved the subtle blue accent stripe, so by pairing it with this light blue wool knit tie and chambray pocket square really tied it all together.
These brown cap toe brogues are still getting a lot of wear and further prove that they are a quality pair of dress shoes. So like I always say, “when you find something you really like, wear it well and wear it often.”
