During this time of the year, the ideal layers are usually a chunky sweater or a blazer constructed from heavier fabrics like tweed or corduroy. However, with a knitted blazer you instantly get the best of both worlds. Therefore, when I found this one during my recent visit to NYC, I immediately had to add it to my wardrobe.
The best thing about a knitted blazer is the versatility that it provides. It presents a cozy and comfortable aesthetic all while remaining professional and astute since it is still a blazer. I paired it with these wool glen plaid trousers. I recently got them tapered more aggressively since wearing them back in October, seen here.
It has also been a while since I wore these vintage oxblood brogues, seen here. It’s still surreal to me that I found them for only $7.
