Staying True to Corduroy

As the weather continues to remain comfortable enough to leave home without an overcoat, I find myself wearing corduroy garments more frequently. It is no secret that I love the fabric, in fact I think I wear a corduroy garment at least twice a week.

I found this slim fit blazer, with double vents, notch lapels, and wooden buttons in a local thrift store for only $3. Of course, I was excited to find another blazer that did not need any alterations. However, I plan on sewing on some navy blue suede elbow pads to inject some flavor.

The shoes were also a thrift store find from a few months ago. Now if only I could find some similar long wing brogues in black, I would truly be a happy man.
