Spring Outerwear: The Suede Biker Jacket

The first few days of Spring are all about wearing your favorite Fall/Winter pieces a few more times until you’re forced to hang them up for the rest of the season. However, my favorite thing about the Spring is that it’s not too hot to wear a jacket and the evenings are usually still cool.

Therefore, I’ll definitely be wearing some of my favorite leather jackets as much as possible!

So until it gets too warm to wear a jacket, here is one way to rock a suede biker jacket during these early days of Spring.

The Suede Biker Jacket

I’ve already discussed how essential a trench coat and a denim jacket will be for the spring. However, a suede biker jacket is ideal for those unseasonably colder days. I’m sure that most of you on the east coast know exactly what I mean.

It almost seems like it will never warm up over there but trust me, I know what it’s like having to deal with bi-polar weather. One day its 70 degrees and sunny and the next day it’s snowing.

However, as long as the weather permits a suede biker jacket can be a great spring outerwear piece. The trick is to go simple with the rest of your outfit and avoid wearing too many patterns or colors. By doing so, you will let the jacket stand out on it’s own.

In other words, if the weather is colder consider rocking a solid knit sweater to complete the look. But if you really want to keep things simple, you can wear a plain t-shirt like I’m doing here. Black, white, brown, or navy are all solid options!
