After several months of going back and forth with the idea of getting a dog and then trying to figure out which breed will work best with our lifestyle, my girlfriend and I finally decided to get a puppy.
His name is Chubby McLeod, but I usually call him Chubbs for short. He’s a 3-month old pit bull terrier with a whole lot of energy and if I simply said that he craves attention, it would be a huge understatement!
At first, I didn’t want a puppy because I was fully aware of all the added responsibility that comes with being a pet owner. For instance, you would be surprised at how expensive puppy chow and quality dog toys are nowadays, and don’t even get me started on the cost of pet insurance.
However, once you become a pet owner you start to take pride in having that extra responsibility because you’re not just adding more bills to your life, but you’re really gaining a new best friend.
What better way to take your dog for a walk than to throw on some ripped jeans and a polka dot button-down shirt!
Whenever I’m shopping for casual shirt options I always look for those that are slim fit but not too tight. It also can’t be cut too long either because if you’re a shorter guy like myself, your shirts should never go past the midpoint of your crotch!
Special thanks to Sebago for sending me a pair of their legacy penny loafers in navy. It was only right that I go sock less this time around, especially since the leather was so soft and comfortable.
I also love the contrasting wooden soles, because I tend to wear brown and blue quite and often so I’m sure these will be worn a lot this upcoming fall season!
As always, thanks for reading!
