This past weekend I visited my hometown of Brooklyn, NY. Now although I make this trip quite often, this time it was for productive purposes. This weekend was the start of New York Fashion Week. NYFW is a fashion industry event, that allows fashion designers, brands and “fashion houses” to display their latest collections. Many of the shows are invite only but I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Frank & Oak Fall ‘13 presentation. Since I previously did a review for Frank and Oak, both here and here, I was excited to see some pieces from their upcoming collection.
I was actually very impressed that I set already aside some money to purchase that double-breasted glen plaid blazer. One interesting fact about this excursion to NYC is the fact that around this same time last year, I was not interested in NYFW at all, but this year I couldn’t be more excited to see some of the latest fashion and be around people that share my passion for menswear. I apologize that my photos are not as pristine as some other sources but for all intents and purposes, here is some iphoneography from the Frank & Oak Fall ‘13 presentation.
