Wearing one color just makes life easier and the best thing about it is that you don’t have to wear the exact same shades. As you can see, I’m wearing three different shades of navy (Suit, shirt, and shoes) but it still works because they are all in the same color family.
Also, monochromatic looks make it easier to add a pop of color to your outfit. For example, the subtle burgundy hints from this vintage pocket square would usually go unnoticed, but now it’s really standing out on its own.
Last but certainly not least, what better way to compliment a burgundy pocket square than to pair it with this vintage briefcase. As you know, I’ve collected quite a few vintage briefcases over the years and this one in particular was my one my first thrift store finds.
It’s definitely a stand out piece and as a result, it always garners a lot of compliments every time I use it. However, it definitely demanded a lot attention this time since I paired with this monochromatic look!
