In the past, I’ve discussed my affinity for made-to-measure clothing, and I think it is pretty obvious that I love earth tones. Therefore, I thought it was only right for my latest made-to-measure suit to be constructed from a beautiful chocolate brown fabric, just in time for the fall/winter season.

In my opinion, brown is probably the most underrated suit option in the world of menswear today. When choosing a suit color and fabric, most men gravitate towards the various shades of grey and navy. However, I think a solid brown suit can be just as versatile as any standard navy option.

This is my second suit from Bureau, the first one can be seen here. This time around, I chose a solid wool chocolate brown fabric from Vitale Barberis Canonico. I also stayed consistent and added peaked lapels, patch pockets, natural shoulders, and genuine horn buttons.

I usually prefer a solid jacket lining, but this time I wanted to shake things up a bit and add some flavor, and I think this silk paisley option did just that!

After spending a lot of time at Bureau helping clients design their suits, I realized that most guys struggle with choosing a monogram for under their jacket collar (even though it is hardly ever seen).
