It’s always a good time when I get a chance to connect with Richard Taylor over at The Life of a Gentleman podcast. We always have some great conversations about life, business, and personal style. However, this time was a particularly special occasion because just celebrated their 50th episode. Therefore, it felt great being able to be apart of this milestone episode.
On episode 50, I talked about how I was able to turn my hobbies of thrifting and blogging into a profitable business and career. I also shared some helpful tips on how to leave your full-time job.
Here are some of the highlights from our conversation.
1. Having a strong support system is crucial to your success. In fact, I’m a firm believer that being an entrepreneur does not always have to be a lonely lifestyle.
2. If you plan on leaving your full-time job, make sure that you have enough money to cover your bills and expenses for at least 6-12 months. Even if you have a business plan with tons of potential, you never know how long it will take until you’re able to make enough money to support yourself.
3. Making money is very important, but being happy with your career is the real key to success!
As always, thanks for reading and be sure to check out The Life of a Gentleman Podcast for more thought provoking conversations!
