Lief Kultuur Fall/Winter 2015

Lief Kultuur Fall/Winter 2015
Back in 2013, I introduced you all to the Lief Kultuur brand when it was still in its infancy stages as an up and coming street wear brand. Now, after two very successful collections, and more than a dozen fashion shows later, I would like to present their Fall/Winter 2015 Collection.

My brother Sam Boakye is the Chief Operations Officer & Creative Director of Lief Kultuur and over the past couple of years it has been inspiring to see him grow the brand and create one of the leading street wear brands here in Buffalo, NY. They have also expanded quite a bit by establishing a strong presence in Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City.

“This is our first full inventory collection and we wanted to set it off with the most popular piece, “The World of Kultuur Jacket“. The colors were inspired by the upcoming F/W 2016-2017 trend of various earth tones and shades.”

“In terms of Fabrics, we decided to go with a heavy olive neoprene because it is ideal for the winter. Neoprene also gives it a more clean and refined look as opposed to just using cotton. My favorite feature is the asymmetrical zipper because it makes it more unique in comparison to our older designs.”

“The next collection will be a sequel to this one as we continue to incorporate asymmetrical cuts, but we will also provide more custom options for our customers as well. Our pieces will still be edgy, but we will combine some more sartorial flair as well.
Stay tuned for the Spring/Summer 2016 campaign coming to you live from Mexico.”
