The holidays are quickly approaching so it’s that time of the year to gather with your family and friends.
Some of which you probably haven’t seen since last year.
Therefore, since I’m always talking about the importance of presenting yourself well and making good impressions, here are 4 simple ways that you can improve your wardrobe this holiday season!
Consignment shops are a great place to go when you’re trying to upgrade your wardrobe while clearing out your closet in the process. Also, one of the best things about them is that they offer more money in store credit. So you can basically swap out the things that you don’t wear for something new.
I usually say that you should get rid of anything that you haven’t worn in the past 8 months. This includes those brand new shoes that you found on sale but never wore!
Sell it on eBay
I already wrote the complete guide on how to sell items on eBay, so I won’t do that again. However, I still think eBay is one of the best ways to sell your new and lightly used clothing.
Even though I hate paying those seller fees!
One of the best ways to improve your wardrobe is to simply get rid of the clothes that you don’t wear.
This option also comes in handy if your clothes don’t get sold. So instead of just holding onto it, donate it to your local thrift store instead.
After all, this is the season for giving!
Get it Tailored
Last but not least, if you’ve been holding onto something that’s too long or too big, now is the perfect time to visit your tailor and get it altered to fit your body.
You don’t always need new clothes to upgrade your wardrobe, sometimes you just need to work with what you have!
As always, thanks for reading!
