However, I like to use household products to get the job done. In fact, during my sneaker head days I always kept a pack of moist towelettes on deck, just in case of emergency!

Step 3: Spray a generous amount of shower cleaner around the entire shoe
Step 4: Scrub the shoes with your cleaning rag and apply more pressure to the dirtier areas
Step 5: Wipe off any excess lather and allow shoes to dry for 10-15 minutes
Step 6: Remove laces from the soapy water mix and allow time to dry (make sure your laces are completely dry before you put them back because they will get dirty even faster).
This method has always worked wonders for me and it keeps my white leather sneakers looking fresh. In fact, people are always surprised when I tell them that I use shower cleaner to get the job done. However, I think that’s the beauty of being resourceful and growing up in the hood and not being able to afford “official” sneaker cleaner!
