I have mentioned several times that a waistcoat is one of the most versatile pieces for any well-rounded menswear wardrobe. It is one of those few garments that can enhance just about any outfit. Therefore, for the next few upcoming posts I will feature some of my favorite waistcoats.

This waistcoat was purchased last month from a local thrift store. This is actually the first time I decided to wear it as a separate, but since the weather in Buffalo is getting much colder, an extra layer has become essential.

I really love how the waistcoat compliments the pinstripe pattern in these trousers, the colors are practically identical.
