In 2016, I decided to take my blog to another level by providing more insightful tips on men’s style, fashion, and lifestyle. It’s not like I wasn’t already doing that, but I wanted to be more intentional about it so that you as the reader could really learn some useful information.
In my opinion, writing from this perspective has really helped me provide more meaningful content instead of the typical outfit inspiration posts. Therefore, I plan on continuing to write (and film) more editorial content so that you all can hopefully put some of it into practice.
So without further ado, here are some of my favorite blog posts of 2016!
This post was inspired by two of my most loyal readers. I figured since two people contacted me with the same question, it was worth the time to write a full blog post. I will most likely revise this editorial and maybe even put it in a video but until then check it out here.
As a shorter guy, I constantly find myself referring to this post, especially when I’m talking about how something should fit!
This was one of my favorite posts from Denim Week. I did so much research about selvedge and raw denim jeans that I’ve subtly become a denim enthusiasts. Therefore, I’m sure I’ll be having another denim week in 2017 as well.
This was one of my signature looks for 2016. Ever since I moved to California, I’ve found new ways to wear blazers and pairing them with a henley has become one of my go-to moves!
I had to include Chubby on the list because this was the first time I introduced him on the blog. He has grown a lot since then but he definitely made 2016 even more memorable!
I love reflecting on my personal style and seeing how much it evolves over time. In fact, that was one the main reasons I started blogging in the first place. It’s always a good laugh to see some of my style mistakes!
I wore a lot of jewelry and accessories early on in my career. However, after a few years of being a higher education professional, I finally learned how to incorporate jewelry into my professional wardrobe.
Last but not least, I really loved this post for the photography and the fact that I was looking for a suede biker jacket for a long time and I finally found one for a great price!
As always, thanks for reading!
