Fall Selects: J.Crew Factory

It’s been a while since I’ve visited an outlet mall and wanted to buy so many pieces. Usually my experience at outlet malls are full of disapointment and I end regretting that I even wasted my time. This trip was different, maybe its because I’m in need of some more casual clothes or maybe I just felt like shopping.

Nonetheless, I felt that it was only right to share some of my favorite pieces from my recent visit to J.Crew Factory. Since fall is right around the corner, it’s best to stock up on some of those wardrobe essentials early, especially while they’re on sale!

PLAID RUGGED ELBOW-PATCH SHIRT

Plaid flannel shirts are definitely one of my fall essentials and the suede elbow patches makes it even better. Try pairing this one with a pair of brown suede boots and some dark denim for an ideal casual fall outfit!

CONTRAST-RIBBED LAMBSWOOL CARDIGAN SWEATER

A warm and cozy sweater is always needed during the fall/winter, especially if their made out of lambswool. Ironically, I’ve never been a huge fan of cardigans but I really like this one. Once again, the suede elbow patches might have something to do with it but I also like the navy accents on the waistband and wrists.

TEXTURED COTTON HENLEY

You already know that I’m a huge fan of henley’s, especially after pairing  it with some of soft tailoring, and this one in particular is perfect. It has some texture which makes it ideal for the fall (and feels great against the skin) and the fit is spot on!

DALTON SUEDE CAFÉ RACER JACKET

In my mind the fall and leather jackets are synonymous, so when I saw this suede leather jacket I instantly knew that it had to go down!

GREYSON JACKET

If leather jackets aren’t your thing, this black lightweight jacket with its corduroy details is the perfect alternative for a versatile fall jacket. It’s similar to a Barbour jacket but just half the price.

MERINO TURTLENECK

Turtleneck sweaters are definitely a fall/winter essential. In fact, I was wearing turtleneck sweaters at least twice a week last year so I can’t wait to start wearing them again. Unfortunately, I bought mine late in the year so I had to pay full price for most of them. In short, don’t be like me and get yours early!

UTILITY JACKET

Finally, I had to save the best for last. Even though I have a similar utility jacket that I found in the thrift store a few years ago, this one blows mine away. I love the slim fit, drawstring, and of course the army green color. Also, you would never have to worry about where to put your phone, keys, etc, with all of those extra pockets!

As always, thank you for reading!

Yours truly,
