Like most sartorially inclined gentlemen, the fall is my favorite season. This is the season that one could truly express their sense of style without having to sweat profusely while doing so. During the summer, many of us settle for a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Now of course that is perfectly understandable because wearing a suit with a shirt and tie in 90-degree weather is uncomfortable, unrealistic and just unfair, especially if your workplace has a strict dress code. However, my favorite thing about the fall season is being able to incorporate suits of various fabrics back into my wardrobe. With that being said, just being able to finally wear this glen plaid suit brightened up my day.
I purchased this wool brown glen plaid beauty last year from JCPenney, and it has been in heavy rotation ever since. I even wear the trousers as a separate. However, whenever I do wear the whole suit it just reminds me that fall is actually here. The glen plaid print has become a very popular fabric, especially after being endorsed by GQ Magazine last month. So if you’re into keeping up with the latest trends, purchasing a glen plaid suit or blazer would be very beneficial. Unfortunately, this $60 suit is long gone from the JCPenney men’s suit department, but Suit Supply offers a similar suit for just $469.
