Warmer weather is finally upon us, so it’s time to get your sneaker game right!
It’s no surprise that my taste in sneakers have changed significantly over the years. I went from collecting Air Jordans and Nike Air Foamposites to now only wearing more affordable and comfortable sneakers with a versatile silhouette.
So here are 5 of the best sneakers to wear this Spring/Summer ’17 for under $100!
Affordable Sneakers For Spring/Summer
During the Spring and Summer, it’s all about infusing more color into your wardrobe. In my opinion, there’s no easier way to do that by wearing a pair of shoes with some color!
It was actually kind of hard to only feature one pair of Asics in this post because you really can’t go wrong with a bold pair of Gel Lyte III’s.
Like I said before, I only wear sneakers that are both comfortable and affordable. Therefore, you’ll definitely have a hard time trying to find a pair of sneakers that are more comfortable and more affordable than a pair of New Balance.
Ironically, I never wore New Balance sneakers during my sneakerhead days. I actually didn’t even look at any sneakers that weren’t Nike or Adidas. However, I’ve grown to really appreciate it’s silhouette and their versatile colorways. Especially, this pair of 574’s in my favorite color!
I love wearing sneakers with a blazer during the Spring and Summer and these vans from J.Crew are an ideal option to pull off the look. Not only do they have the perfect silhouette to compliment a slim pair of jeans and a blazer, but they’re also super affordable.
Therefore, if you accidentally ruin them before Summer even starts you won’t be breaking the bank by copping a fresh pair!
I always praise Jack Purcell Converses for the Spring and Summer. In fact, they were on my list of shoe essentials for the Spring. However, if that silhouette isn’t for you, consider these mono low’s in all white.
They’re perfect with a pair of shorts during the summer and you can easily wear them with a blazer as well.
The Greats brand have been making a lot of noise over the past few years with their direct to consumer model. They’ve definitely disrupted the sneaker industry by providing such high quality footwear at a fraction of the price.
However, what initially attracted me to Greats is how simple and classic their sneaker designs were, especially this style in my favorite color!
As always, thanks for reading and just remember that money can’t buy style!
