When it comes to being a young entrepreneur or just a young professional in general, there are a few things that every man (or woman) needs in there arsenal. In this series, I will discuss all of the essentials that a young entrepreneur needs to be on their A-game.
In part 1 of the series, I discussed the importance of owning a quality briefcase. I believe a quality briefcase is the epitome of modern business style and functionality. Therefore, as a young entrepreneur it’s important to own a briefcase that can function as an everyday carrying case as well as a travel companion. Not to mention, owning a quality briefcase like this one will complete just about any outfit!
However, another essential for every entrepreneur is a quality pair of dress shoes. After all, one of the first things that people notice about someone else is there shoes. This is especially true for women as well.
Therefore, owning a pair of quality dress shoes can easily separate you from the crowd and help you make a great first impression!
As a young entrepreneur, I can’t emphasize enough the importance of making a great first impression.
It’s amazing how often my shoes or overall outfit was used as a conversation starter. It’s usually followed by the common question of what do you do, and then the networking really begins!
What is there to say about the Beckett Simonon Hoyt monk strap that isn’t already evident?
When it comes to the Hoyt it is easily one of the most stylish and versatile shoes in my closet. They’re a natural fit with most of my suits, from this classic navy business suit to my Pitti Uomo stunner!
However, they pair equally as well with some slim fitting dark denim jeans. Therefore, they’re ideal for any entrepreneur, whether you’re always suited up or more of a casual dresser!
Sizing. In terms of the sizing and overall fit, these fit true to size. In other words, there is no reason to second guess if they would fit perfectly.
Comfort. Leather shoes typically take a little time to break in. However, the leather on the Hoyt is soft and and extremely comfortable. I’ve owned several other pairs of double monks and they usually get some creases near the vamp after the first wear. Fortunately, after wearing these for the whole day they didn’t develop any noticeable creases at all. In fact, the first photo was taken at the end of the day!
Quality. Here’s what you’re getting with the Hoyt monk strap. A full-grain calfskin leather upper, a sturdy and resole-able leather sole, full grain leather lining for extra breathability, and a Blake construction. Not to mention, these shoes were handcrafted and ethically made by skilled artisans in Europe and South America!
All in all, what more can you ask for?
