The Salmon Blazer

By the creek…
Similar to the vintage suede briefcase that I recently found at a local thrift store, this salmon colored blazer was also a thrift store find that I picked up almost three years ago. Since then, it has become one of my favorite blazers for the spring and summer because of its bold color and lightweight construction fabric.

Sitting on the dock of the bay…I actually don’t even remember how much I paid for this blazer but I know it was no more than $10, and every time I wear it I appreciate it that much more. That’s just one of joys of shopping via thrift, coming across a hidden gem that is both unique and rare.
Unfortunately, I don’t visit local thrift stores as much as I used to simply because I don’t have the time. I used to visit 2-3 local thrift stores at least twice a week and as a result, I found tons of leather jackets, suits, blazers, and vintage accessories. However, nowadays most of my free time is dedicated to working at Bureau and learning more about the made-to-measure clothing business (more on that later).
