I enjoy thrift store shopping just as much as the next frugal person, but whenever I find myself sporting an outfit that is almost entirely made up of items found in thrift stores, I feel the need to pat myself on the back. The overcoat, seen here, was one of my latest thrift store finds and only cost me $4. It is constructed from suede water resistant fabric, which was ideal for the bi-polar weather that we had in Buffalo. In fact, it rained so sporadically that it forced me to seek shelter in order to take these photos.
This chocolate brown wool suit was also purchased in a thrift store over the summer. I wasted little time getting it tailored just so that it would be ready for the fall season. I opted to leave out the suit jacket because the weather did not permit too many layers, however as the weather continues to grow colder, I know I will eventually wear the entire suit with a different overcoat.
The shoes and tie were also previous thrift store finds, and honestly I think it is time to give these cap toe oxfords another fresh polish, in order to ensure that they can sustain another Buffalo winter.

I was on the hunt for a navy blue and white polka dot tie for quite a while because of its versatility, and was pleased to find this one for only a $1. However, I have found several other polka dot ties since then, therefore this will also be up for sale in my upcoming online store.
