It’s no surprise that I have an affinity for waistcoats, especially after I dedicated a four part series to convey it seen here, here, here, and here. I believe that a waistcoat is one of the most versatile pieces a man can own and it can drastically improve an outfit. Not to mention, it’s also a great layering option for colder days.
Similar to my other ones, I found this vintage waistcoat in one of my favorite thrift stores and fortunately it did not need any alterations. When shopping for waistcoats I usually opt for those that have an adjustable strap in back. By having the adjustable strap, you can create a slimmer and more flattering silhouette.
I shortened the length of these trousers since the last time I wore them here, and I couldn’t have been happier. When it comes to trouser length, a couple inches can make all the difference.
