40 Shades of Brown

The weather has become frigid again especially after yesterday’s snowfall. Therefore, some extra layers were necessary and this tweed top coat, also seen here, was essential. Staying warm around this time of the year revolves around your choice of fabric, and options like tweed and wool are ideal.

This tweed newsboy cap and tweed top coat are not the same style of tweed, but they work together in harmony and serve the same purpose of providing warmth.
If you have not noticed by now I have an affinity for wool knit ties. I actually 4 brown wool knit ties, they are just different shades of brown. Therefore, I say that to say this, “When you find something you really like, wear it well and wear it often. Make it your signature.”
Lately, I have been trying to incorporate bags and briefcases into my outfits. Ironically, I recently found this leather and suede laptop carrying case at a local thrift store. It was brand new with the tags and fit my 13’ Macbook Pro perfectly. In my opinion, the bag complemented my shoes well. This is something you should always be cognizant of when incorporating bags/briefcases into your outfit.
