Looking dapper while trying to stay cool in the summer time can definitely be a challenge. It’s no wonder that most guys just settle for wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. However, there are a few simple things that every guy can do to help stay cool during this time of the year.

So here are 3 simple ways to beat the heat this season!

Stay Cool In Seersucker This Summer

Wear lighter fabrics. One of the best ways to stay cool in the summer is to wear light and breathable fabrics. Fabrics like cotton, linen, and seersucker instantly come to mind. For instance, this vest and trouser combo is constructed from a lightweight seersucker fabric.

It’s actually a new take on the traditional light blue and white striped fabric that most of us have grown accustomed to!

Roll Up Your Sleeves. Rolling up your shirt sleeves is a classic and simple way to stay cool. There are several different ways on how to roll up your sleeves but here is my preferred method.

Step 1. Start with your sleeves unrolled and unbuttoned
Step 2. Roll sleeve up to about two thirds of the cuff
Step 3. Roll again to the bottom of the cuff
Step 4. Roll once more leaving the top of the cuff exposed

Show Some Ankle. Don’t be afraid to show some ankle during this time of the year. Some guys roll up their pant legs while others get their pants hemmed a little shorter for the Spring and Summer.

However, if that’s not your style, you can always try wearing some no-show socks or just go sock-less.
